Code Geass Prologue

In the Year of 2010 of the Common Era, The Holy Empire of Britannia invaded Japan. The small nation had no chance against Britannia, which was the worlds last remaining super power. Despite it’s lack of Natural Resources, the country of Japan had adopted a stance of Nationalistic Isolation. Inorder for the Britannia to take the mainland, the Britanians were forced to use their newly developed Knightmare frames; a new kind of humanoid powered armor.The Knightmare frames abilities exceeded expectation and the forces of Japan fell one by one from Project Knightmare. Japan became terroritory of the empire, and was stripped of its freedom, rights and even its name. It is now called Area 11
